Macabre Noir is the embodiment of a true artistic soul as
she brings a deep dark elegance to the world of burlesque.
Dedicated to the art of burlesque, she is completely self-
taught and performs routines based in traditional
numbers but Macabre twists and turns them into a
deeper, darker, artistic expression.
This diminutive, Lovecraftian stunner entices audiences
into the furthermost recesses of the human libido
whether she is performing as a steam punk lady robot, a
post-surgery bandaged-wrapped zombie, or a possessed
nun that is seductive and shocking all at the same time.
She also performs a signature fan dance but allows
feathers to be pierced into the flesh of her shoulders
forming organic wing body extensions.
When not performing with the Bridge City Bombshells,
Macabre is a body modification sideshow performer as
well as a creator of neo-Victorian horror-inspired works of
odd art, jewelry and dolls for “Dr. Morose & Miss
Macabre's House of Oddities”.

When we met Anne Rice last month to discuss upcoming projects (and to thank her for sending us the wonderful dress we displayed at the last Dracula's Ball), she was very excited to tell us about her upcoming book, The Wolf Gift. CRYO-MANCER: Cryomancer is the product of the talents of frontman/guitarist Kryss Oroborus and bassist/vocalist Sparks. Completely restructured and relocated in 2009 the band has changed their sound drastically from electro to a unique hard edged, guitar driven industrial metal/coldwave style.
STAGE TIME - 10:35pm
THE DROWNING SEASON: Putting the rock back in goth-rock, this Baltimore band has been laying down sonic napalm on the dancefloor for nearly twelve years. Major influences include The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission (UK) and Fields of the Nephilim. This is their second appearance at Dracula's Ball.
STAGE TIME - 12:05am
This Ball takes place in our favorite location, Shampoo Nightclub, at 7th & Willow Streets in Philadelphia, PA (Mapquest and Google Maps info can be found on our website). As always, the Ball is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ with proper photo ID to drink. Shampoo has an on-site free parking lot but it fills up very quickly for the Ball. Check our map of available nearby parking on Facebook if you're arriving late. Personal photo cameras are welcome. Large professional camera rigs with unpleasant flash bulbs are not. Video cameras are not allowed.

The next Dracula's Ball event takes place on Monday, October 31st, 2011 and includes live performances by The Last Dance (*exclusive East Coast show*) and Psyche Corporation as well as DJs Addam Bombb and other guests. 3 dancefloors of non-stop music!
Tickets are $16 in advance. All ages are welcome. If you want to drink alcohol, you must be 21+ w/photo ID. Admission at the door will be $18. Tickets are on sale now.
Advance tickets can be purchased *in person* from Ticketmaster or Digital Ferret, or *online* from Ticketmaster or IsoTank. Those with advance tickets are admitted first, before those paying at the door.
